The 3rd International Conference in Pharmaceutics and Cosmetics (3rd ICPCos)
Integrating Pharmaceutical, Dermatology & Cosmetic Sciences: From Formulation to Market Impact
8–9 December 2026
Pathumwan Princess Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand
CPE 4.50 Credits
Rationale
The Department of Pharmaceutics and Industrial Pharmacy and the Master of Science Program in Cosmetic Science, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chulalongkorn University, in collaboration with the School of Pharmacy, Monash University Malaysia, initiated the International Conference in Pharmaceutics and Cosmetics (ICPCos) as an international platform for knowledge exchange and the development of academic and research networks.
The 1st and 2nd ICPCos conferences, jointly organized with Monash University Malaysia, established a strong foundation for academic collaboration between the institutions and promoted international exchange of knowledge and research in pharmaceutics and cosmetic science.
For the 3rd ICPCos, the collaboration has been further expanded to include the Division of Dermatology, Department of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, as a key partner. This collaboration strengthens the clinical dimension of the conference and promotes the integration of knowledge across the continuum from fundamental research and formulation development to clinical applications and industrial translation.
Research and development in pharmaceutical and cosmetic sciences have continued to advance rapidly in terms of scientific knowledge, technology, and applications in both healthcare and industry. In particular, global changes in health awareness and consumer behavior have driven increasing demand for pharmaceuticals, health products, and innovations in dermatology and beauty that are supported by reliable scientific evidence.
These trends have encouraged multidisciplinary integration across pharmaceutics, cosmetic science, biotechnology, materials science, dermatology, and health sciences to develop innovative solutions that address the evolving needs of society and industry at the international level.
In alignment with Thailand’s national strategies for research and innovation and the transition toward an innovation-driven economy, international academic and research collaboration plays an important role in enhancing research quality, developing human resources, and translating scientific knowledge into academic, societal, and commercial applications.
Accordingly, the 3rd International Conference in Pharmaceutics and Cosmetics (3rd ICPCos) will be organized to build upon the success of the previous conferences and further establish ICPCos as an international platform for knowledge exchange in pharmaceutics, cosmetic science, and dermatological sciences.
The conference will feature keynote lectures by distinguished experts, oral and poster research presentations, as well as networking activities to foster academic, research, and innovation collaborations among universities, research institutions, healthcare professionals, and industry partners from Thailand and abroad. Beyond disseminating advances in research and innovation, the conference aims to strengthen Thailand’s potential as a regional and international hub for education, research, and innovation in pharmaceutics and cosmetic sciences.
Objectives
- To provide an international platform for academics, researchers, faculty members, students, and interested participants from public and private organizations, both in Thailand and abroad, to present their research findings, thereby promoting academic advancement and strengthening Thailand’s leadership in pharmaceutics and cosmetic sciences at the regional and international levels.
- To promote the exchange of knowledge, experience, and advances in academia, research, and innovation among Thai and international academics and researchers, and to foster sustainable international academic and research networks.
- To strengthen academic and research collaboration among Thai and international researchers in pharmaceutics, cosmetic science, dermatology, and related disciplines, with the potential to develop future collaborative research projects, institutional partnerships, innovation, and research translation.
Date and Venue
The conference will be held on 8–9 December 2026 at the Pathumwan Princess Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand.
